Ingredients

For the Honey Pepper Chicken:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
  • Salt to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz pasta penne or fusilli works best
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Grill for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Pour the honey-pepper sauce over the chicken and cook for another 2-3 minutes, turning to coat evenly.
  • Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.

Cook the Pasta:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Dish:

  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
  • Top with sliced honey pepper chicken and gently mix.

Serve & Enjoy:

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
