Ingredients

  • 1 lb roll of breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare the Filling: Mix the cooked sausage and softened cream cheese in a bowl until well combined.
  • Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create smaller triangles.
  • Assemble the Rolls: Scoop a small amount of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll from the wide end to the pointed end, sealing the filling inside. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the Rolls: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  • Serve Warm: Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm for the best flavor.

Notes

Customizations: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling for a spicy kick, or sprinkle shredded cheese on top before baking.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or toaster oven to maintain crispness.
Great for Parties: These rolls can be doubled or tripled for larger crowds!
